Know the injury patterns, risk factors for young baseball players

imagesSKTCCZ7WThe Little League International, whose primary interest always has been the health and well-being of young baseball players, adopted pitch counts for all of their youth leagues. There has been a significant decrease in the number of throwing arm injuries in the league because of this action. A number of the other youth organizations have since adopted pitch counts to prevent shoulder and elbow injuries in youth baseball.
