This past July 2026, Oakville Little League successfully undertook the hosting of the first Canada Region Senior East Bracket Championship Tournament. With a mere two months to prepare, a volunteer committee got to work. The teams from Atlantic Canada, Quebec and Ontario travelled to Oakville’s Glen Abbey diamond and enjoyed playing alongside Oakville hospitality. The final Championship game came down to an exciting Cape Breton Islanders and Diamond Baseball game, with Diamond Baseball (Quebec) being the Champions. Diamond Baseball went on to represent Canada at the Little League World series in Easley, South Carolina.
