Little League Ontario District 1 is pleased to announce that we will be holding our 2018 District House League Championship on the weekend of June 22, 23 & 24 – 2018, hosted again this year by Oakville Little League, located at 425 Cornwall Road in Oakville, Ontario.
Teams will compete from Ancaster, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Erindale, Grand River, Woodbridge, High Park and Oakville.
Each Little League organization in District 1 will enter a team from their Minor and Major House League Programs, a total of 16 teams. These teams will represent their community in this action-packed weekend Little League Tournament.
“Little League is built around our house league programs” says Steve Bagnell, District 1 Administrator. “We enjoy providing the house league players this opportunity to play in a weekend tournament with all the other leagues for the right to be our District House League Champion”. “Running both a Minor and Major Tournament on the same weekend, at the same venue can be a challenge” Having the experience of the District Staff, the District Umpires and the support of the Oakville Executives and their wonderful volunteers to work with, only makes the atmosphere from the first pitch to the last out of the weekend very electric”.
